Reading Borough Council closes its public buildings from 17 March

Reading Borough Council (RBC) closes its buildings to the public from today, Tuesday 17 March. This includes the civic offices, Reading Museum and Town Hall, arts and theatre venues, libraries, community buildings and leisure centres. RBC has decided to do this in response to latest government advice on the coronavirus epidemic.

RBC says it will continue to run essential public services, and you can contact them on 0118 937 3787 or online. You can find RBC’s latest advice about the epidemic on their website.

  1. Many thanks for the NHS coronavirus information – it is eminently sensible and most helpful, unlike the government website!
