The John Madejski Academy (JMA) choir will be finalists in the mayor of Reading’s choir competition at the Hexagon on Monday 26 March. This choir competition was postponed from 1 March due to bad weather.
The JMA choir, which is part of the school’s performing arts department, will compete in the under-18s category.
“The talented finalists will have the thrill of performing on a big stage and the audience will enjoy a great evening of entertainment,”said Reading’s mayor Councillor Rose Williams. “On top of that, my chosen charities, Berkshire Phab, City of Sanctuary and Readipop, will benefit from the proceeds of the evening.”
The Let’s Sing competition will be at the Hexagon Theatre, Queens Walk, Reading RG1 7UA on Monday 26 March at 6.30pm. Tickets can be bought from the theatre.
