Two of the bollards at the junction of Waterloo and Elgar Roads by the bottle banks disappeared last week.

Thanks to the prompt action of Reading Borough Council (RBC) and Katesgrove councillor Rose Williams they were replaced the day after it was reported to them.

Without the bollards there was a danger for pedestrians who were not used to cars driving through the gap created and down Elgar Road.

Problems like this can be reported to RBC online or by phoning 0118 937 3787.
